Remember those little letter blocks that you used to play with when you were a kid? I always liked playing with those and felt like our daughter would like playing with those too. So, I decided to make her a custom set. Here's how you can make a set too.

What you'll need: - Wood Blocks (Any size and shape that you'd like. I chose 2" cubes) - Images, letters, and numbers of your choosing - Sand paper - Mod Podge (choose the finish based on how you want the blocks to look) - A brush

What to do: 1.) Round the edges of your blocks so that they are safe for baby to play with. 2.) Select the images, letters, and numbers that you want to use. You'll need six per block. We decide t do two pictures, two letters, and two numbers. Now if you don't know, my wife is quite the Disney fanatic (she's turning me into one too) so I decided that these blocks would be all classic Disney scenes. 3.) Print and cut the images to size. You'll want a little bit of an over hang here (1/8-1/4"). 4.) Use a thin layer of Mod Podge to glue two images to the blocks. Make sure they are on opposite sides. Allow to dry. 5.) When dry, use your sand paper to sand off the extra paper. Repeat the process for the other four sides. 6.) Once all sides are complete, work to coat the entire block in a thin layer of Mod Podge. This will seal the entire block. Sand any imperfections and additional coats as needed. (You can use a different sealer if you'd like.)

Give it a try and let me know what you decide to put on you little one's blocks.
